Hello, and welcome to my blog! However you happened to arrive here, it's good to meet you! Let me introduce myself: My name is Jennifer, I'm 39, I've been married to my amazing husband, Eric, for 17 years, and I'm the lucky mom to Emily, who is now 8 years old. We recently (ok, really about 8 months ago) moved from our first home in Colorado, to Virginia for Eric's job. It's a temporary detail, about 2 years, and then we'll be headed to California to be near family. I left my career as a Registered Nurse to be a stay at home mom when we got here. It wasn't the original plan, but it just happened to work out that way. I love being able to focus on being a wife and mom...but it also means finding creative ways to stay busy and productive when Eric and Emily are at work/school. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of things to DO (cleaning, laundry, cooking, going to the gym, taking care of the three dogs, various other errands...)....
